God's Given Gifts to Man

It is evident that Our Father in Heaven is the one who gifted men with their skills.  As you read God's Word in the Bible you will find the evidence itself as stated in Exodus 35:35 and other passages.
"Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, [even] of them that do any work, and of those that devise cunning work."
1Corinthians 12:4
"Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all."
(verses given are from King James version otherwise noted)
You can read the whole King James Bible here

It is then advisable to grasp the knowledge that only God has decided what gift an individual will be born with.  Those who chose not to acknowledge this principal will only rely on their own wisdom and personally, I much prefer my Creator's infinite sageness than my own limited one.  That said how does one come to recognize what gift God has given him?

First we must read His word to understand how God works through each of us.  We must make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace by being completely humble, and gentle, being patient  and bearing with one another in love.  God says there is one body and one spirit, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. Paul says in Ephesians 4:1-8
"I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
[There is] one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
One God and Father of all, who [is] above all, and through all, and in you all.
But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men."
Once we acknowledge this truth we ask God to reveal to us the skill He has bestowed upon us and we do this through prayers and wait for His answer.  Philippians 4:4-7 says:
"Rejoice in the Lord alway: [and] again I say, Rejoice.
Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord [is] at hand.
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Do you see what God is saying here?  He tells us where our gifts come from and how to attain a clear vision of the very unique role He wants us to have.  He tells us that when we ask of Him He will send His peace, a peace that passes all understanding, keeping our hearts and minds through Christ.  What does it mean?  It means that by keeping our heart and mind pure through Christ the service we offer through our God endowed gifts can only be used in the best of ways.  He tells us that He is here, The Lord is at hand, next to us with every steps we make.  What a reassurance it gives and how much He loves us in undeniable.  Paul tells us to rejoice in the Lord twice in one sentence, he tells to us moderation and to be anxious for nothing, don't you want this peace?

Here is how more of that peace can come our way.
Philippians 4: 8-9 "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things [are] honest, whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely, whatsoever things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue, and if [there be] any praise, think on these things.
Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you."
Once you realize what gift God has given you, what do you do with it?  We apply what we have learned and bring glory to Our Father, we help one another, we joyfully and gratefully use our gifts not as Paul says:"Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account." We must desire fruit to abound from our labor, we must work together to bring the Kingdom of God to our every day life.  Then and only then will we experience God's peace and be sure that He is pleased with us.
